AMDT proudly hosted Lauren Haron from New York as part of the AMDT Creative Workshop Series for Fashion to share her valuable experience in the international Fashion industry. As the Global Head of Design in New York, Lauren works with World-famous brands such as ‘Calvin Klein’, ‘Victoria’s Secret’, and ‘NIKE’. More than 50 fashion students eagerly participated the workshop.

She spoke about her team’s everyday challenges and how they overcome in setting new trends for intimates & active-wear globally. She shared valuable knowledge about the rising trend on how the different elastics used in for example: bras, help give the ‘perfect fit’ that last long taking into account how the body stretches in different ways according to movement, preserving the elastic fit.

Lauren emphasized saying today Creativity has become a very important aspect of their fashion process. Creative thinking and innovation play a big role when creating trends.
