Meet Our Founders

Satheesh Kumar M and Vinodi Jayawardane were more than educators. They were pioneers, dreamers, and relentless champions of Creative potential. Together, they laid the foundation for AMDT School of Creativity; transforming a modest idea into Sri Lanka’s pioneering institution dedicated to Creative education.

A Shared Legacy

At a time when Creativity was often dismissed as a mere hobby, Satheesh and Vinodi envisioned something different. They believed that imagination, design, and innovation could be powerful forces; not only to build fulfilling careers but to reshape industries, cultures, and the future itself.

From humble beginnings, they taught across many creative disciplines instilling generations of students with the courage to pursue their passions and the skills to turn their ideas into impact.

Their journey was not always easy. Building AMDT School of Creativity meant overcoming countless challenges, questioning conventions, and proving, time and again, that Creativity is not a luxury. it’s a necessity. Together, they nurtured a community where curiosity thrives, individuality is celebrated, and boundaries are meant to be challenged.

Vinodi passed on November 30, 2024, but her spirit remains woven into the fabric of AMDT School of Creativity. Every classroom, every project, and every graduate carries forward her legacy of generosity, grit, and unshakable belief in what is possible.

Today, under Satheesh’s continued leadership, AMDT School of Creativity remains committed to the vision that inspired its founding: to be the place where Sri Lanka’s creative talent finds its voice, dares to dream, and changes the world.
