Hi, I’m Shakthi Fernando. I joined ‘AMDT School of Creativity’ right after I completed my school life.
I’ve had a keen interest in Art since I was a child. I didn’t have a clear idea of what I wanted to do or be after I finished school, but I knew I wanted to have a future in the Creative industry and make good use of my talents. As I was doing my research on where I wanted to go to complete my higher studies in Sri Lanka, in this field; I came across AMDT.
AMDT Foundation Diploma
‘AMDT Foundation Diploma in Art & Design’ was the first step which helped me kick start my dream-journey in the Creative industry, which I was guided in the right pathway through AMDT.
Learning in a creative atmosphere, with an amazing set of like-minded colleagues, and a set of supportive and friendly lecturers, who always pushed us to do our best and bring out the Creativity within us which helped me perform well in my assignments and helped me improve day by day.
I had so much fun and learnt a lot throughout the Foundation program, as I was introduced to new things to have a different outlook on art and design. AMDT also offered me a lot of opportunities to showcase my work and to gain a lot of exposure in the Creative industry.
I’m currently following my Creative Advertising degree level course (2nd year) at AMDT. The Foundation Diploma in Art & Design helped me in a countless number of ways to get this far and have a clear understanding on what I should be doing.
I’m also looking forward to completing my degree from Falmouth University in AMDT as well because it is the best place to study and most importantly it is the RIGHT place to study.
