AMDT School of Creativity World Photography Day 2023 Scholarship – Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility Criteria:
  • The overarching eligibility criteria for the AMDT School of Creativity photography course will similarly extend to this scholarship opportunity.
2. Application Process
  • Applicants must submit an application form provided by AMDT School of Creativity.
  • Applications must include a portfolio of their photography work, showcasing their skills and creativity.
  • Any additional documentation or information requested by AMDT School of Creativity must be provided.
3. Selection Criteria:
  • A total of 12 students will be chosen to receive this scholarship.
  • Applications will be evaluated based on the quality of the photography portfolio, creativity and the originality of the photos.
  • A judging panel comprising qualified photography professionals and the Management of AMDT School of Creativity will review the applications and select the scholarship recipients.
  • AMDT School of Creativity reserves the authority to select candidates at its discretion and in accordance with the established selection criteria.
4. Scholarship Amount and Disbursement:
  • The scholarship amount totals LKR. 400,000 per student.
  • The scholarship funds will not be disbursed directly to the student; instead, they will be transferred and directly deducted from the course fee of the photographic program.
5. Rights and Usage of Submissions:
  • All submitted photographs remain the property of the respective applicants.
  • By submitting an application, applicants grant AMDT School of Creativity the right to use their submitted photographs for promotional purposes related to the scholarship.
6. Notification of Winners:
  • Scholarship recipients will be notified via email and/or phone on or before 2nd September 2023.
  • The names of the scholarship recipients may be publicly announced by AMDT School of Creativity on their official social media pages.
7. Acceptance and Confirmation:
  • Scholarship recipients must confirm their acceptance of the scholarship within a week after receiving the notification.
8. Publicity and Promotion:
  • Scholarship recipients may be required to participate in promotional activities, interviews, or events related to the scholarship or AMDT School of Creativity.
9. Scholarship Duration:
  • The scholarship is exclusively applicable to the September 2023 intake at AMDT School of Creativity and cannot be transferred to any other intake.
10. Termination of Scholarship:
  • The scholarship shall be terminated if recipients fail to maintain satisfactory academic progress or violate any policies, including general student rules and regulations at AMDT School of Creativity.
11. Privacy and Data Usage:
  • Applicants’ personal and contact information will be used solely for the purpose of the scholarship application and selection process.
12. Governing Law:
  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sri Lanka.
By submitting an application for the AMDT School of Creativity World Photography Day Scholarship, applicants acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
