The Art of Eco-Dyeing and Printing.

Eco printing is all about colors, some are shadowy and others are defined. In Sri Lanka even though we do not use eco dyeing and printing as a sustainable practice, it is indeed popular among the fashion enthusiasts of the world as a sustainable approach in designing.

Our first-year fashion students tried their hand on eco-dyeing methods while coming up with innovative accessories and clothing pieces. These designs were dyed using materials such as turmeric, indigo, avocado peels, onions, etc. And prints were done using potato blocks and flowers.
