Fashion Revolution Week

Fashion Revolution Week

Today is the World Photography Day. Dive into your picture galleries and find that forgotten ‘imperfect shot’ you took. Use the hashtag #ImperfectStories and post it on your social media pages to show that sometimes imperfection creates meaning in our lives.

As we have come to the end of the fashion revolution week, will have a look at what it stands for and its uniqueness. Fashion Revolution Week is the time when we come together as a global community to create a better fashion industry. It centers around the anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse, which killed 1,138 people and injured many more on 24 April 2013. As per the records, it is the fourth-largest industrial disaster in history.

It is been 8 years since the tragedy and still, unethical practices are ruling the fashion industry more than ever before. As a result, fashion Revolution week happens every year in the week surrounding the 24th of April where they try to highlight the importance of ethical and more sustainable working environments.
