Hi I’m Asma Hanifa and I’m currently in the 2nd year of my HND in Fashion Design at AMDT. I never actually thought of myself being a fashion designer but while watching these fashion shows abroad, mainly NYFW and many other,
I actually got inspired and wanted to try out this subject. So I got to know about AMDT and I must say it actually helped me and made me interested in fashion like there’s so many new stuff to learn and try new things and the lecturers here know what they specifically want us to know and that’s a very good thing.
so I think I made a wise choice by choosing fashion design and I enjoy doing this a lot and one day be a successful fashion designer which is my dream. So I think anyone who’s out there who wants to not only be a fashion designer but anything in the Creative Industries, I can guarantee that AMDT is the best place.
What I miss about college, EVERYTHING I guess. Especially spending time with friends in the lobby and doing the assignments and spending more time in the fashion studio and yah pretty much everything. I miss what happens at college to be honest. MAINLY THE EVENTS because that’s where everyone meets and makes a lot of friends. But yeah hope this lockdown will end soon so we can just go to college again.
Like, at college it’s just all about the memories we have because like we learn new creative things and we meet new people and it’s a very friendly environment, everyone in AMDT are simply amazing. It’s a very fabulous place to study so who wouldn’t like to join and pursue their education in a place like this. So I just wanna say I really really miss AMDT and I’m looking forward to going back.
